My name is Giedrė, Graphic designer and Illustrator from Lithuania behind BLOOMYRING.
I studied fashion design in the Art College in Kaunas,
later I’ve graduated architecture from Vilnius Academy of Arts,
and spent many years working at advertising agencies and publishing offices.
After 15+ years working as a graphic designer, I discovered the world of surface
pattern design and now I'm passionate about fabrics, patterns, and all things beautiful!
My work always starts with hand-drawn & painted motifs. I then transform that
work digitally into patterns and designs. I love to experiment with different media
and techniques, but watercolour is my favorite way to express myself.
My designs can be described as fresh, calming and elegant mostly inspired
by nature and botanicals.
I also love to illustrate children's books.
My patterns and illustrations are available for licensing and commissions,
so they can be used on your products like textile, home decor, gifts, stationary...
